The floating cutThe Fendt Slicer rear mowers with centre suspension, the mower combinations and the Slicer FQ front mounted mowers are equipped with the patented TurboLift hydropneumatic cutterbar relief. The TurboLift system constantly ensures the optimum ground pressure during the mowing process and can be quickly and steplessly adjusted to the prevailing conditions, even while travelling from the tractor cab. The Fendt ISOBUS mower combinations have a speed-dependent TurboLift control system, which enables perfect ground pressure even at higher speeds.
Relief at all levelsAfter raising at the headland, the system recalibrates itself each time and quickly adapts to the different conditions in the field. This ensures a floating cut and increases sward protection and forage quality. This significantly reduces contamination in the feed, especially in damp and wet areas. Thanks to the unpressurised parking position, the mower can be released at the touch of a button when parked. With the automatic restoration of the preset pressure, mowing can be carried out directly when attaching again without having to make any further presettings. This guarantees a clear time advantage and the best forage quality, low fuel consumption and reduced stress on the frame structure and hitch.
Features may include:
Compact Transport- The low pivot point of the lifting arms result in a low centre of gravity for the mower and thus ensure greater transport safety. Despite a working width of 9.60 m, the mower units remain below the legally permissible transport height of 4.00 metres.
- The towed mower units are suspended centrally in the centre of gravity. This ensures excellent trailing, optimal ground tracking and prevents the cutter bar getting stuck in the ground. In combination with the curved-form extension arm, the mowing units achieve a pendulum travel of +30° to -19° and effects the compensation of unevenness and height differences. The integrated compensation cylinder prevents rocking on the headland.
- Changeable weather often leaves narrow time windows for mowing, so areas must be harvested ever more quickly and efficiently. These butterfly mower units place a strong focus on technological innovations to enable more efficient harvesting, homogeneous forage and higher output, so that farms can achieve their harvesting targets.
