The forage harvester from Fendt: is versatile and powerful

Chopping is always about performance. Performing especially well. With results which are qualitatively and quantitatively convincing. We are also about versatility. We want optimum performance and maximum efficiency – no matter what the application. Are you wondering how you can achieve this goal? The answer is the Fendt Katana.

Performance is its strength

The Fendt Katana has everything you need to give it your all when chopping. With a performance-consistent crop flow trimmed for chopping quality and throughput, as well as an innovative all-wheel drive concept, it is ready for the most challenging operations. The more varied the conditions, the more the Fendt Katana plays to its strengths.

We look back on 10 years of the Fendt Katana. To 10 years of passion and perseverance. The Katana drives us to think differently, to be better, to go further. Because one thing is clear: it keeps going. A new milestone on this path of passion and perseverance is now being launched – the new Fendt Katana 850.

Fendt Katana – Here, nothing is left to be desired!

Regardless of whether it is a farm or a bio-gas plant – success and profitability begin in the field. This is where the Fendt Katana comes into play. It stands out for its versatility in maize, grass and whole crop silage and always delivers the best quality at the highest throughput.

Features may include:

Crop flow
  • Designed for high throughputs and top quality – that is the Fendt CropFlow 2.0. With the largest Knife drum on the market and powerful roller crackers, the crop flow always ensures optimum results under a wide range of conditions.
Highest chop quality from front to back
  • The Fendt CropFlow 2.0 stands for the highest possible cutting and conditioning quality with increased throughput, reduced wear and higher fuel efficiency. Thanks to completely new roller cracker, among other things, the shredded material is optimally conditioned.
Technology
  • High throughput and gentle on any terrain. The Fendt Katana leaves nothing to be desired. Intelligently controlled all-wheel drive, rear axle suspension and high manoeuvrability are some of the features that make chopping child's play even in difficult conditions.
Modular & light: the tank concept of the Fendt Katana
  • The tanks of the Fendt Katana are not only impressive with their high capacity – the modular and robust plastic construction also saves quite a bit of weight. For each of the two models, there is a choice between diesel with AdBlue tank or diesel, AdBlue and water or additive tank. No matter which configuration is chosen: The filler necks for diesel and AdBlue are conveniently accessible.
Fully integrated silage additive system
  • The silage additive system, which can be controlled via the Varioterminal, allows additives to be applied to the crop. In the process, the Varioterminal provides information on the fill level of the tank and the current flow rates. The silage additive is located in the optional 215 litre tank on the right–hand side of the vehicle. By the way, you can also clean the crop flow channel via the dosing unit.
Powerful and gentle on any terrain.
  • The Fendt Katana 850 has an all–wheel drive concept with increased torque. Due to the increased pull and traction, even hilly terrain and wet conditions are no problem. For the Katana 650, this all–wheel drive concept is available in conjunction with the Kemper 490 Plus. In addition, the Fendt Katana is equipped with a reinforced linkage and higher braking force.
