This combine harvester is equipped with the proven components of our larger combine models and is therefore used to working hard. You can control automatic functions such as AutoLevel header control, automatic cutting height control, ground pressure control and return to cut directly from the driver's seat. The high level of comfort provides relief, ensuring fatigue-free work. Consequently, this guarantees optimal header guidance, even for larger header widths. AutoLevel header control is available as an option.

The heart of the Fendt CORUS 500 is the threshing unit, which has several highlights. These are, among others:

• The Multi Crop Separator, which provides higher throughput in difficult conditions and ensures a better separation

• High inertia threshing drum of 600 mm diameter

Engine

The Fendt CORUS 500 covers the power range of straw walker combine harvesters from 185 hp to 260 hp with the Fendt CORUS 518 (185 hp), Fendt CORUS 522 (225 hp) and Fendt CORUS 526 (260 hp) models. The 4.9 L displacement, 4-cylinder AGCO Power engine powers the Fendt CORUS 518. The Fendt CORUS 522 and 526 models are equipped with a 7.4 L displacement, 6-cylinder AGCO Power engine. Both engines comply with European exhaust stage V with a diesel oxidation filter (DOC) and exhaust gas recirculation (SCR). The engine's flat torque curve as well as its smooth running and high fuel efficiency are worthy of mention.

The CORUS series is equipped with a new electro hydrostatic driven ground drive. The final drives and the transmission, based on three gears, is completely manufactured by AGCO. The new 100 CC hydrostatic pump is controlled electrically and grants seamless control in every working condition and road transition.

Reliability starts right at the front with the Fendt CORUS 500. With the FreeFlow and PowerFlow headers, you play it safe even in difficult conditions and achieve a uniform crop feed and high throughput.
